Caitlin Cotter Makeup Artistry

When Brooke, Amy + I launched The Wedding Loft, we wanted this collective to be more than just a shared space for event vendors. Our vision was to create a studio bursting at the seams with inspiration, and to collaborate closely on mutual weddings. As always, we'll continue working with tons of different vendors + offer our couples lots of talented creatives in the area (we know one size does not fit all!). But now The Loft is getting a facelift with pretty beauty products and in-house makeup consultations by appointment.

May, Wedding Season, & Frequently Asked Questions

Happy May to all! The past few days have been seriously amazing: abundant sunshine, temperatures that allow us to break out our new sandals, and skies in the richest shade of blue. After record breaking snow, freezing temperatures and hurricanes we deserve this! May not only brings the fabulous weather but also the official start of wedding season! We have a couple under our belts already and are gearing up for the full summer push; it can't get here soon enough!

We are so excited that The Wedding Loft of Connecticut is getting lots of buzz, and we wanted to answer a few common questions for those wanting to know more about TWL....

What is The Wedding Loft?

The Wedding Loft of Connecticut is a bridal collective of four amazing wedding vendors (if we do say so ourselves) who share a studio space in the heart of downtown Milford.

Are you a business?

Nope. The Wedding Loft is primarily a source for brides to meet vendors, learn about our services, and get inspired by the wedding space we've created. We also use it to work ourselves and feed off the creative energy!  We do not make sales, or collect any money. Contracts are with the individual businesses for their specific services.

Is it required to hire all of The Wedding Loft vendors?

Absolutely not, but we do each provide a special discount for those brides who work with all of us. But It's important to adore each one of your wedding vendors and choose them based on what suits your style, preference and budget.

Do you work with other vendors?

Of course! We obviously love to work together but we still frequently team up with other wedding creatives. We believe in giving the recommendations that are best for each client + their wedding.

Where is The Wedding Loft?

The physical address of the studio is 18 Daniel Street, Milford, Connecticut, 06460. We are about 100 yards from the Milford Train Station. We are just above the town barber shop and across from Cafe Atlantique (where we frequent for coffee and biscotti!).

How could I visit The Wedding Loft?

We love visitors! The Wedding Loft is by appointment only through Amy Champagne Events, Brooke Allison Photo, Little Random Details or Roseville Designs. Join us for a cup of coffee or glass of wine + let's discuss the details of your big day!
