What I'd Do With a Day off + A Giveaway!

Sandy here with a fun paper giveaway + a personal post!

For most of us creative business owners, an actual day off doesn't really exist. If we're not photographing/designing/planning/crafting, we're checking emails, Twitter feeds, and Facebook updates. Thankfully we absolutely love our jobs, so often times it doesn't feel like work. Still, a day free from anything work-related is necessary every now + then.

So today I'm sharing what I'd do with a day off from everything....and keep reading for more details on a special giveaway!

HAVE A VISIT WITH MY NIECE + NEPHEW...

My sister's kids are growing up so fast! There is really no better feeling in the world than a huge smile and hug from a child who is excited to see you. Being with them reminds me to slow down + prioritize what's truly important in life.

PREPARE A HOME-COOKED MEAL...

I used to cook almost every weeknight, but when the business took off, so did my free time. My husband has been a real trooper to the change in dinner menu, and I'd love to take on a new recipe for us to enjoy.

MAKE THIS FRAME...

I was planning on making something like this to go over our fireplace months ago, but now the print-out of the tutorial continues to collect dust on my desk. Crafting is so therapeutic, that I'd love to get this started again!

GIVEAWAY: Now we want to hear from you! What would you do with a day off from everything? One of our lucky readers will win this set of 25 thank you cards, designed by yours truly.
